Amanda was raised in Lake County and attended Tavares schools. After graduating Tavares High School, she attended Florida State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Social Science. Amanda then attended Stetson University College of Law, graduating in 2009. Currently, Amanda is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration with Florida State University.
Amanda lives in Tavares, where she is active in serving her community. She served on the Tavares City Council for 6 years, of which she was Mayor for 2 years. Amanda served as an Assistant Public Defender for 13 years. Amanda is currently serving as the Chair of the Golden Triangle YMCA Board and as Secretary of the Lake County Bar Association. Amanda also enjoys spending time with her family and improving her gardening skills.
